1973 Rayson Craft G hull. Probably one of the nicest ones you’re going to find. This was the last boat my Dad built. I bought the boat back from a guy here in Boise after my Dad sold it back 30 years ago. I sold it to my brother Ron..(Speedboat Racer) about 15 years ago and my body shop painted it and Ron and I restored it. My brother is very detail oriented as you can tell by the pics. So let’s see some details. It’s a 10 degree Casale split case with a 9 degree shaft angle. The v-drive was done by Bergeron Engineering. Complete drive line cover front to back. Includes1350 series u-joints. The boat has all steel underwater gear. It was an FE Ford in it’s prior life but we swapped it to BBC. Ron and I totally re-rigged the engine mounting system at that time. Complete adjustable cav plate assembly including a Mecco handle and great override pedal. It has chain and cable steering with steel rudder. All gauges were updated when restore was done. Tach cable was new less then four years ago. Aluminum fuel tanks in each side. Every bolt is polished stainless…
Boat has a kick ass Stereo system also…and it’s capable of plugging your phone in. I know it’s near blasphemy to do this to a v-drive boat…but this one is done right. It sounds fantastic and I almost dare you to find the speakers. All of it was a custom install with my brother mounting it all…
Upholstery is original Lee Wells interior. (Lee did all of the Sanger’s for generations) It’s held up incredibly well since 1974. It shows some wear here and there but still shows good. It’s had new seat bottoms done a couple of times.
The trailer is original to the boat…It’s also been restored with new axles with brakes and wheels and tires…foldable tongue. It has the coolest feature under the strut. When you pull out of water the boat self centers. The strut glides down a v block underneath it and centers the boat. Trailer is powder coated white.
Boat is being sold less motor and prop. The complete exhaust system with OT
